The smart robots have the ability to screen 50 to 150 people per minute, do facial recognition, temperatures screening, monitoring, and keeping medical records of patients.

Drones came to the rescue.
Severely affected areas, that pose a risk to humans catching COVID-19 are using drones following:
- To spray disinfectants on the streets
- Transporting both medical equipment and patient samples
- Enhancing both speed of deliveries and preventing contamination of medical samples.

This is some of the low tech solutions which don’t necessarily require smartphones, that have been very effective in developing countries, to give factual information on Covid-19. Especially the USSD in countries like Kenya is being monitored by the Ministry of Health.

It is a software that relies on Bluetooth wireless technology to detect when someone who downloaded the app has spent time near another app user who later tests positive.
